Artist's Description

This is a custom Paw Print.

I never had the pleasure of meeting Austin in person but got to know him through his pictures and his fb posts. Austin was a beautiful young Boxer mix who ended up in a high kill shelter in California. Due to very serious medical issues he was put on the dreaded euth. list. With only hours left a great rescue based in San Diego, "Labradors and Friends" stepped up and pulled him to safety and into the hands of a medical team so he could get much needed treatment.

Austin found a home with members of his Labradors and Friends family who helped him through several surgeries and treatment, with a smile always on his face and a heart as big as the moon he won over everyone who crossed his path.

Alas, after several months it became clear there was nothing further that could be done. At this point though he was well into his bucket list and many people were following his posts cheering for him as he got to swim in the ocean, walk in th...
