Description

Sometimes it's the simple things in life that inspire the most emotion. Images that speak to an earlier time and evoke the memories of Christmas's past. Life today moves at such a fast pace we often miss the beauty that lies tucked away in hidden corners of our world. Like an old weathered barn residing in Nova Scotia's Gaspereau Valley, that has many tales to share, dressed up with a simple splash of color. Complete with a single bulb to light the way through many a storm in days gone by. The door frame adorned with a single horseshoe, a symbol of good luck, placed by someone who's name is lost to time. Simple beauty, that calls out to the heart.

As with all of my work, a portion of the proceeds are donated to the rescues that care for the voiceless, and those that watch over them.
