Description
Shine was written in honor of all those who rescue, foster, adopt and advocate tirelessly for this breed/ type. Those who fight against BSL (breed specific legislation) and all that it stands for. Because each dog deserves to be judged by their deeds, not their breed. Fortunately more of this archaic legislation is being rescinded than is being enacted across the country as it has proven to do nothing to stop the incidence of dog bites across all breeds. Responsible pet ownership is the key to lessening this problem, but the fight is far from over.
The Rescue dog featured in this print is our very own "Winston" He was being sheltered at Yonkers Animal Shelter in NY . He is now such a big part of our family that we couldn't imagine life without him...... he is our first Pit Bull....and he won't be our last.
A portion of the proceeds from these prints goes to help support Animal Rescues and to those that watch over those with no voice. These prints are periodically donated to select Rescues at no cost to them to aid in their fundraising projects. The Rescues may continue to contact me here at FAA for consideration.

Thank you to the buyer of a canvas print from Ohio! This is a print that's very dear to my heart as it speaks to those who rescue and in particular, advocate for those that have no voice, especially for the very misunderstood Bully breeds. They have my heart, thank you for hearing their voice!
